Healthcare Assistant

Oakwood Healthcare is looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to provide person-centered care to clients within local Residential and Nursing homes In Newcastle and surrounding areas.

You would be playing a pivotal role in providing excellent support and care for clients and your daily tasks as a Healthcare Assistant HCA will include assisting service users with personal care, medications, daily activities, and leading a more fulfilled life

Pay rates from £9.00 – £15.00 per hour inclusive.

Minimum requirements to work with Oakwood Healthcare as a Healthcare Assistant

  • Care experience
  • You must have a good standard of English and be able to communicate effectively A warm, compassionate, and personable nature with the ability to work with patience, tact, and understanding

Support Worker

Oakwood Healthcare is looking for experienced Support Workers to provide person-centered care to clients within local Residential and Nursing homes In Newcastle and surrounding areas.

You would be playing a pivotal role in providing excellent support and care for clients and your daily tasks as a Support Worker will include assisting service users with personal care, medications, daily activities, and leading a more fulfilled life.

Pay rates from £9.00 – £15.00 per hour inclusive.

Minimum requirements to work with Oakwood Healthcare as a Support Worker

  • You must have a good standard of English and be able to communicate effectively A warm, compassionate, and personable nature with the ability to work with patience, tact, and understanding
  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months previous care experience
  • Certification in a practical Moving and Handling course in the last 12 months or willing to attend our in-house training programme.
  • Medication Administration certificate
  • NVQ3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory

Registered Nurse

Oakwood Healthcare is looking for experienced Registered Nurses to provide holistic, person-centered care to our clients.
We have lots of work available for Registered Nurses (RGN) in a variety of care settings including local Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, Learning Disability Units, Mental Health Units, and Private Hospitals in Newcastle and surrounding areas.
Pay rates from £18.50 – £35.50 per hour inclusive.
Minimum requirements to work with Oakwood Healthcare as a Registered Nurse (RGN):

  • You must have the right to work within the UK
  • NMC Registration
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
