Training with Oakwood Healthcare Solutions

All of our training is in line with the care certificate; officially launched in March 2015, with the aim of equipping health and social care support workers with the knowledge and skills they need to provide safe, compassionate, quality care and support.

What does the care certificate mean for you?

New workers are just as important to us as our existing workforce. Our induction programme ensures all staff are given the appropriate mandatory training to feel confident and prepared for their role. The theory elements of the programme ensure knowledge of legislation and guidance and the practical elements allow trainees to practice their learning in a safe environment, before joining the workforce.

Further support and guidance are provided throughout your journey with Oakwood Healthcare in a variety of ways including, shadowing, supervisions and ongoing and specialist training, allowing everyone who joins Oakwood Healthcare to feel fully prepared for their new care role.
